PLEASE NOTE: This app requires the Lightspeed Phone Controlled Helicopter that you then control with this app.
Fly the Lightspeed 3.5 channel, gyro helicopter with your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.
You can fly the Phone Controlled Helicopter via the virtual joystick or via motion control (tilt your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad).
Up to 3 Lightspeed helicopters can be flown at the same time by selecting an available band (A/B/C).
The Copter Control App works with the Lightspeed helicopter and transmitter that are sold separately and not available on the App store.
This app on its own won’t control anything unless your purchase the Lightspeed helicopter separately, but you can still download it to see what the control interface looks like.
See www.i-helicopters.net for more details about how to purchase the Lightspeed Helicopter that works with this App.
Troubleshooting - In case of issues, please follw this...
1. Go to settings > music and ensure the following are set: EQ (Off) Volume Limit (Off) 2. Go to Setting > General > Accessibility > Hearing > Mono Audio (Off) Ensure Mono Audio is OFF and also the slide dial is in the center of L/R slide.
Other issues for use with all devices: When trying to operate the helicopter ensure you have done things in this order: 1. Charge up both helicopter and the transmitter (dongle) fully 2. Keep helicopter turned off 3. Plug in transmitter (dongle) to phone and turn phone volume to maximum 4. Turn on the app and press "fly now" 5. Turn the ON button on app (the transmitter will light up) 6. Only then turn helicopter on and wait a few seconds for signal detection (red light stops blinking), the helicopter should be placed on a flat surface while the gyro sets itself during startup, as the red light wont stop flashing without this and the helicopter wont fly.
